Girl on a Horse

Girl on a horse

“Girl on a Horse” was the first piece I created when I made the decision to take my art seriously. It came from a deep desire to explore something beyond my own experience—something imagined, yet emotionally true.

Horses have long been seen as spiritual beings, symbols of freedom, power, and intuition. In this work, the horse represents a guide—calm, patient, and attuned to the direction of the rider. When you’re on a horse, you can see farther ahead. You become part of a quiet collaboration, where movement happens only when you’re ready to lead.

The girl in white symbolizes beginnings—purity, possibility, and the start of a new path. Her face is turned slightly toward the frame, but her features remain undefined. Only the sunlight touches her cheek. This intentional ambiguity invites the viewer to step in and finish the story with their own emotional truth, their own reflection.

The midday sky is a vivid blue, with the sun at its highest point—signaling a turning moment. The sea, calm and shallow, reflects stillness and presence. There is no tide, no rush—just the quiet assurance that everything you need is already here.

The shoreline appears distant, not because you are far from your goal, but because you’ve already come farther than you realize. As you take in the scent of salt in the air and the hush of nature surrounding you, the horse senses your signal. And then, it begins to move.
